Just Launched: OVA & WHS Health Check Tools Now Available!

We are delighted to announce the launch of two new self-assessment health check tools, now available FREE for EML Group customers, proudly funded by the Mutual Benefits Program.  These tools have been developed by industry experts to support health and safety leaders understand the risks in their business in relation to Occupational Violence and Aggression as well as Workplace Health and Safety.

You can easily access these tools through your tablet, laptop or mobile.

Occupational Violence and Aggression (OVA) Health Check

The Occupational Violence and Aggression Health Check is a tool crafted to evaluate the risk level of occupational violence and aggression within a workplace.

Upon completion of the Health Check, a detailed report will be emailed to the participant covering:

• A summary of the results and recommendations including:
  • Overall Occupational Violence and Aggression Health Check Score
  • Prevention Leadership in the Workplace Review – reporting on identifying and assessing hazards or risks and prevention and management, clear policies and procedures.
  • Safety Management Systems Review – reporting on organisational system approach to identify, assess, control and review risk.
  • Workplace Environment Review – reporting on safety and security, worker availability, temperature, noise, lightning, housekeeping and cleanliness, location layout and design and signage.
  • Overall indication of the business’ maturity towards minimising OVA risk
• Links to our FREE tools and resources to support a business’ OVA needs including guides to Prevent and Manage OVA, Poster Library and our Education and Training Program.

Workplace Safety (WHS) Health Check

The Workplace Safety Health Check aims to evaluate the approach to safety management within the workplace.

Upon completion of the Health Check, a detailed report will be promptly emailed to the participant covering:

• A summary of the results and recommendations including:
  • Overall Workplace Health Check Score Safety System Management Review - reporting on elements such as incident management, consultation/ communication, training and competency.
  • Injury Risk Management Review - reporting on elements including electrical safety, manual handling, building condition, emergency response and fire safety, first aid, chemicals management, plant and equipment safety, work at heights and more.
  • Overall indication of the business’ maturity towards managing WHS risk
• Links to our FREE tools and resources to support a business’ WHS needs such as EMsafe and EMhealth, customisable Poster Library and our comprehensive Education and Training Program.
