We are proud to announce that Mark, one of our hard-working Mobile Case Managers, is a finalist in the Excellence in Customer Service Award at this year's PIEF Awards.

The PIEF Excellence in Personal Injury and Disability Management Awards recognises outstanding service, innovation and best practice in the personal injury and disability industry.

Mark, who is one of four finalists representing EML Group in 2024, has a well-earned reputation for providing exceptional care and support to employers, helping them navigate the workers compensation landscape and supporting their injured workers to access treatment when they need it most.

Passion and purpose

Mark works tirelessly to engage all stakeholders involved in a claim and his genuine passion for helping people is supported by a multitude of feedback from workers, medical practitioners and employers; incredibly from 59 surveys completed, 90% provided Mark with a perfect 5/5 rating.

Since joining our business, he has developed a well-earned reputation for working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and achieving outstanding return to work outcomes. Last year alone, Mark attended no less than 293 in-person case conferences, where he met with a worker and their doctor, to ensure that the workers compensation process was clearly understood and to approve requests for further treatment on the spot.

His ability to bring everyone together on the same page has fostered countless positive return to work outcomes.

‘It would have been difficult without support and Mark’s support has been there. He’s there at the end of the phone. If I need something or if something’s not right, he’s there,’ Julie Bland, Newcastle Anglican.

In this heartwarming episode from our recent video series with Newcastle Anglican, Julie recounts the lifechanging support that Mark provided to her and the positive difference he made to her recovery journey.

The power of in person care

EML Group first introduced mobile case management services in South Australia in 2015, and then Victoria in 2016. Having demonstrated the benefits of face-to-face intervention on personal injury claims in those jurisdictions, we launched our dedicated team of NSW Mobile Case Managers in 2021.

Since then, Mark and the NSW team have made over 18,200 visits with workers, employers and health practitioners in NSW. Each visit represents an opportunity to offer compassionate care and expert guidance on navigating the workers compensation claims process.
