With the support of the Mutual Benefits Program, we have developed a new initiative to help customers to assess manual handling risks and improve workplace safety.

How does the program work?

Our Wearable Technology Workplace Risk Assessment involves using Bluetooth sensors fitted to a worker while they’re performing manual handling tasks to obtain objective data on the risk associated with those tasks. These sensors (which seamlessly integrate with an iPad), allow you to add variables such as load, duration, and repetition to customise task analysis.

You will immediately receive a ‘risk score’ along with key contributing factors, allowing you to explore ‘what-if’ scenarios by adjusting these variables to evaluate potential changes in risk.

This service is available to NSW customers at no charge.

The data-driven approach, in collaboration with EML, is a significant advancement in preventing musculoskeletal injuries and reinforces our commitment to keeping employees safe and well every day.
