A better way of managing mental health claims related to workplace conflict
With the support of the Mutual Benefit Program, we have developed a new initiative to support our customers in NSW.
Managing a claim which involves workplace conflict can be challenging to manage, so to promote early intervention on these claims, we are piloting a program which involves a Recovery Pathways Specialist working alongside the dedicated Case Manager, to provide employers and their people additional support for up to 14 weeks of the claim.
Our Recovery Pathways Specialists will support:
- conflict resolution
- early access to treatment
- interventions designed to facilitate earlier return to work outcomes for these claims.
This expert support will be delivered via face-to-face meetings, video conferencing or through phone calls.
When recovery and return to work is on track, the Recovery Pathways Specialist will no longer be needed to provide support, and the dedicated Case Manager will continue to work with employers and their people.
